NIU or Kent State needs to get into the top 16 of BCS rankings for this to happen. 8 of the teams directly in front of them lost so this very will could happen. Watch out for Boise State though.

You have to think at least for Kent State a win against a top 25 team while Boise is at home should move them one spot.
I THINK they're good enough, either one but they started too low in the polls to make the leap. Be pretty cool for the conference though.

UCLA will lose to Stanford again although its tough to play the same team 2 weeks in a row. That is weird. Texas should lose to Kansas State, Nebraska/Wisconsin game could be interesting. That is 3 spots that Kent State/NIU could move up.

At first I thought this was a long shot but the more I'm looking at it the more I'm thinking it will happen. Should be interesting to see where NIU/Kent State stand come tonight with the BCS.
also remember the OSU spot will be gone in the BCS

Oh forgot about that! Wow! This would be awesome!
Isn't it funny, either NIU or Kent State could end up in the Orange bowl but if not.....Detroit. LOL

OSU isn't in the BCS rankings. Only the AP poll.

Pretty sure that is what he meant...
yeah. Because the rankings i posted were AP, so there's technically an empty spot in front of them, so imagine they're actually one rank higher in the AP
How does he MAC revenue sharing work?
Boise State was ranked ahead of Kent St in last weeks BCS rankings. NIU wasn't even on the list.

Boise has 2 losses though. I'm ASSUMING a 12-1 team would jump them. Which, according to this guy, they jump them this week. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/rankings/bcs
Boise State has Nevada...while NIU or Kent will have a top 20 win after the MACC game. Should be able to jump them after that.
KSU 17, Boise 20, NIU 21
This is awesome...sneaky sneaky in....GO MAC!!
Surprise team could sneak up on BCS.

Has this been posted? Good blog about Kent State.
