KenPom only gives UAB a 63% chance of winning this road game at Troy. Projected score is 68-65.

After Saturday's loss to TCU, UAB has fallen to a ranking of 160. Troy is 276. TCU has improved to 225.

KenPom now has UAB projected to come in 11th place in C-USA. However, there are only 3 wins separating 11th place from tying for 2nd place.

Troy is 3-2, with wins over Mississippi State (233), Chattanooga (279), and SE Missouri (213). They lost to Texas A&M (110) and Louisiana Tech(119). Both losses were huge double digit losses.

Troy is projected to tie for last place in the Sun Belt Conference Eastern Division, and tie for second to last overall in the SBC. Middle Tennessee is the best team in the SBC, and Louisiana Monroe is the worst. UAB plays both teams in December.

Troy is expected to beat Alabama State today.

Troy's tallest player is 6-9, and he doesn't get much playing time. Just like last year, they shoot a ton of 3's.

..............

Since Troy only squeaked out a home win against Alabama State on Sunday, KenPom now has UAB winning by 4 points, with a 65% chance of victory.

UAB is now projected to tie for second to last place in C-USA with three other teams. There are only two wins separating second from last to second place. Memphis is expected to win C-USA by three games over second place UCF, USM, Marshall, and Tulane.
While we might only have a 63% chance of winning, I'm still 100% there lol. 5pm at Ruby Tuesday in Troy, beers and food. GB!
If they jack up a ton of threes like they normally do, we are screwed unless someone on our team can defend the perimeter... hasnt happened yet.

what MB said...plus, we've given up 3's to certain teams b/c we've sold out to defend a low post big man that is a legit threat to take over the game. selling out to defend the low post has effectively shut down some very good big men, but left open some shooters.
if troy doesnt have that low post man (i cant say i know much about troy), we'll have more people available to defend the 3
Bingo!
