What to look for:

• Austin Dantin to play QB
o 29 for 35 for 327 yards and five TD passes!
• David Pasquale to spend time as RB
o 6.2 yards/carry for 93 yards rushing
(NOTE: I did anticipate these before I knew of TO's injury and the game status of Flu)
• Jermaine Robinson to have an INT
o Nope but Jermaine settled for a half of a QB sack
• Zips will have more yellow flags than UT
o By one, 11 to 10 (lot more flags on the Rockets than I expected although a couple were, IMO, just silly calls)
• Neither team will have more than two QB sacks
o Akron had three and the Rockets had four
• Toledo will be a plus 3 in the TO battle
o Nope, both teams had one INT
• Multiple FG by Stein and Detmer
o Nope, Stein connected on the game’s only field goal attempt
• Reedy to have a kickoff return beyond the 40 yard line (and no block in the back!)
o Yes, Reedy returned the opening kickoff of the second half for 45 yards to the UT 46 yard line
• Rockets to have good field position most of the game on offense
o First 11 drives started, on average at about the Rockets 31 yard line with the last two drives starting on Akron’s 36 yard line (47 and 25 yard line)
• WR Jerrod Dillard to be the go-to target in the red zone for the Zips
o Only pass completed in the red zone was to Dillard for the Zips last score
• A busy night for UT DBs
o Zips threw the ball 46 times compared to 30 rushes
• Rockets to control TOP by 4+ minutes
o Nope, just by 10 seconds
• Rockets special teams to have an outstanding evening
o Rockets kickoff coverage was good with the Zips beginning, on average, at their own 25; the lone punt return out of six punts was for 12 yards; add in a missed by a whisker blocked punt and the special team play solid
• No INTs thrown by the Rockets
o Austin Dantin had one pick as he was hit as he released the ball
• A rousing send off to the 18 seniors playing their last game in the Glass Bowl with temps in upper 40s
o Excellent game for the Rockets’ seniors particularly David Pasquale (203 total yards), Austin Dantin (completed nearly 83% of his passes for five TDs) and Dan Molls with 18 total tackles
