No, that's a reality complex. Illinois is just really that bad.

I would say 2-3 teams ahead of us will lose this week, so lets just hope no teams behind us jump us if we dont dominate EMU.
Postive first half for the Huskies, Horned Frogs making life a little challenging for #15 Longhorns, 14-3 TCU late 2nd qtr
Horned Frogs 17
#15 Longhorns 6

Two TD lead with about 8 minutes left. The HUSKIES might not pass Texas this week (since no one will remember how much trouble they had with Kansas) but NIU will pass Texas if they lose to TCU tonight and Kansas State next week.

I think it could be close, given how much TCU has domianted Texas, and Texas looking completely horrible tonight, if NIU doesnt catch Texas, I cant imagine its by more than 1 slot. If you just saw this game, you would say Texas shouldnt even be in the top 25

Why does everybody think you have some problem when hating on the Illness. They suck this year. I hate all their teams and fans without feeling inferior at all.

A good question, he simply said it was unlikely Illinois would win, not sure why he got all defensive about Illinois.

Some bad news, the Horns have awoken and have all the momentum. TCU needs 2 first downs to win, but with their QB, I doubt that will happen.
Where NIU is getting killed in the rankings is the computers. Need to look at who is ahead of them there, basicaly, until you get in the top 25 in the computers, you get nothing in the BCS standings. NIU is 15 spots higher than Bosie St right now, but since they are not in the top 25, there is no difference in the BCS standings.
GOODBYE AUSTIN!!!! Frogs win, frogs win
Huge win for tcu

Its been a tough year for them with 4 losses already, but more importantly nIU could move up an extra spot ! Or like was mentioned NIU will pass Texas for sure if K-state takes care of business against them
I'd love to see the hawkeyes upset Nebraska

Hard to imagine that, but that would be great
Ya total pipe dream with the way they've played thus year.

Feeling good about our chances of moving up this week.

Huh? What does that even mean?

For what it's worth, NIU is ranked in the top 25 in 2 of the 6 computers. We're also 26th and 27th in two others. Yes, overall the computers hurt us because our schedule is gawd awful. Boise State is not ranked in any of the computers, but I'm not sure what the 15 spots means.
