Quote:4:01PM EST November 21. 2012 - The bad news keeps coming for Auburn and its embattled coach, Gene Chizik.

According to a Yahoo! Sports report, the NCAA is investigating Auburn's football program for potential violations involving "recruits, players, coaches, representatives of the school's athletic interests and third parties."

Oh, s***!!! When it rains, it ******* pours!
If, when, and after our program becomes successful, we will enjoy the fact that our program is a clean program.
The coaching search just got a little more difficult!
Now if they'll only tell the NCAA what they've got on UAT, we'll all be better off
Almost sounds suspicious. They're going to fire the coach. They don't want to pay him millions in a buyout. Suddenly there's an NCAA investigation, and the buyout goes away.
Right now Auburn cant win for losing. Nothing has gone their way since the BCS title game.
you knew it was going to happen as soon as pat dye and his cronies took control after tubby left.
Investigating why they stopped cheating! Clearly if they were "doing it right" they wouldn't be in this here predicament!

There's nothing sudden about it...i've known it was coming since early September... You don't think they pulled two coaches off the road because they were tired do you?
The only thing that has changed is that they had to cut back a little on cheating because of the Newton deal.

That is one reason why they are leap years behind the gumps right now.
Heh, it'll be their turn soon enough.

Well, no. Not soon ENOUGH, but eventually.
Visions of Mr. Kimball.
Start shutting these programs down. They won't but it's a nice thought.
I like Charles Barkley's quote ""We damn sure better not have paid any of these damn players!""
2 of the assistant coaches Luper & Trooper could be suspects.

Both were shoved down our throats during the coaching search.

Yeah, anybody who looked into this at all knew this was coming. I'll be interested to see what actually comes from this. Auburn has recruited a lot of guys who can't get in/stay in school for whatever reason recently. But if high school teachers/guidance counselors are changing grades, I'm not sure if the NCAA can prove Auburn had anything to do with that.
The SEC is such a slime pit and the media and people in this state not only condone it, they actively participate in hiding it.
Who really is running their program the right way? No doubt in my mind.

Down at Auburn, the question seems to be, "Who really is running their program?"

Their biggest problem, for a full 20 years, has been the old coach fired for cheating yet still allowed to keep his filthy hands on the program when he's so senile he literally can't remember where he left his pants.
