They can "want" all they like, but I do not think Oklahoma and Texas have any interest whatsoever in the SEC.

I'm thinkin' Va Tech and any NC team that is not WF.

and to get any north carolina team the other schools would have to have a safe landing place

You might be right H. I can live with it either way. Lots of friends and family in the B1G. I spent many years at Grissom AFB in Indiana watching B1G FB and BB. Was rabid about it on the cold winter nights working in the Emergency Room. My friends were all from Michigan and Ohio. My on-base next door buddy was born in Champaigne, lll and took me to the campus there. Brothers to this day. I know more than you think about it. Just bought my son-in-law an Illini jersey. Born in Quincy. (And my baby daughter a Longhorn jersey, as she was born on an AFB in Texas.) In the end we watch on Saturdays no matter what. We type our ideas and opinions here at night. I have lived all over this country and love all the teams and schools... even Kansas I guess. And like you I am having a ball with this board.

Either way you guys are big time winners. All the **** talking about Missouri won't matter then. In fact you will be able to tell all those Big 12 folks to piss off because you would actually be in the Big Ten.

If you end up with the SEC, its not like you lose. It is a win win situation for Missouri. You guys are just waiting for either Notre Dame to join the ACC or for the panic there to reach the point of no return.

To get to 16 these are to only real ligit options. Of course, it require the B1G to first take UNC and UVa.

As for Mizzou, while I would love for them to remain in the SEC, if the B1G came call with a package deal for KU as well, I thikn the academic pressure would be too great to resist, the gnashing from fans and donors be danmed.

I can't see the Longhorns moving from their position of hating the SEC, which fine as the conference has too many members who would vote against them.
