The Troy at MT game just got waaaaaaaay more interesting.

Right now only ASU, MT, ULM and Louisiana are in play for the title, those four teams(as well as WKU) are also already bowl eligible.

Troy is the only other Sun Belt team who can get bowl eligible, but they have to beat the Blue Raiders on Saturday to accomplish that feat.

ULM and Louisiana's title chances both ride on Saturday's game in Murfreesboro as well. A Blue Raider win on Saturday knocks ULM and Louisiana both out of contention and guarantees an individual champion as the winner of MT at ASU will be the lone 1 loss team in conference. If Troy wins on Saturday, they become bowl eligible and opens the door back up for ULM and Louisiana to grab a share of the title(provided they beat FIU and USA). IF ULM and Louisiana win their final games and IF Troy beats MT, a MT victory in Jonesboro would mean a four way tie between ASU, ULM, Louisiana and MT.

My prediction? Troy beats MT in Murfreesboro on Saturday, opening the door back up for ULM and Louisiana for the title, but the title hopes of MT, ULM and Louisiana are all dashed the next week in Jonesboro when ASU hands MT their second straight loss, dropping the surprising Blue Raiders back to the middle of the pack, but still better than most predicted after the disaster of a season last year and the opening loss to McNeese.
Troy has got a crazy good offense, defense sucks, but the offense is just crazy. There were multiple times in this game they would get a massive loss and face a 2nd and 20 or 3rd and 10+ and some receiever would make a great catch with a defender on top of him.

The way to beat Troy is to score a lot of points, and then figure out how to slow the offense down once they have to deal with a shortened field in the red zone. We only pulled that off today because of two great goal line stands by our defense, and Larry Blakeny's strange decision to play conservative with bowl eligibility on the line. He kicked two 19 yard field goals today.
Kicking field goals killed us...

Well, I must admit, You are definitely not a homer.
I have no idea who will win this game. Hopefully we keep it close since Troy's FG kicker isn't so great.

I actually think we match up decently with Troy, but until we overcome the mental edge I'm not gonna be able to pick us to beat them.

ASU on the other hand, I just think they're playing too well right now for us to beat them.

Our field goal kicker is great. He made all 4 Field goal last night. Plus a 50 yard field goal to beat FIU in the final seconds...Not sure where you get that from.
