Rank Team +/- Comment
1 Northern Illinois 0 NIU's win over Toledo guarantees them the West and a match up against Kent in Detroit. It was a close win, but Toledo is a quality opponent
2 Kent 0 Like NIU Kent spent the week fending off the only team that could challenge them for their division. Kent clinched the East and may end up ranked this week
3 Ball State 1 Beating up Ohio at this point is not as meaningful as weeks ago but Ball State has been surging lately, they should have 9 wins going into a bowl.
4 Toledo -1 Tough loss against NIU, kinda like last season. No team has been as good in the MAC and has as little hardware to show for it over the past couple of seasons.
5 Bowling Green 0 The fact Bowling Green was playing for the division in week 11 is surprising. It's pretty fair to say Dave Clawson's job is safe.
6 Ohio 0 Ohio's locker room is like a MASH ward. It's cost them a ranking, their division, and some clout. Hopefully they heal up a bit by the time bowl season is here
7 Buffalo 0 UB is now using their 5th running back of the year and moving the ball. Next week will be a real challenge though if Oliver is not back.
8 Central Michigan 0 Big win over the RedHawks, believe it or not Central Michigan could be looking at a bowl game if they take UMass seriously next week. Enos lives to fight again
9 Miami 1 It almost feels like Miami wasted Dysert's last season. One of the better pure QB's in the MAC's recent history just had nobody to work with.
10 Eastern Michigan 2 Good win over Western Michigan but the massive failure of Eastern Michigan in the trenches this year may have ultimately cost Ron English his job.
11 Western Mighigan -2 Speaking of Coaches who might be looking for a job. WMU was once against slated as a preseason contender and once again they fall woefully short
12 Umass -1 The lack of depth is something you expect from a recently upgraded FCS team. The bones of a good team are there but they need a couple of years to build up
13 Akron 0 Akron's week off saved them from a loss. Next week they get to face a ticked off Toledo squad
BIE. Kent is ranked #25 in the AP poll. Should be higher since a few teams above us lost. BTW, your rankings are spot on.

Yea I fixed that after I saw the story on Hustle Belt..
Be interesting to see how the polls work out this week...will the MAC land two MAC teams in the top 25....perhaps!

San Jose St might gum that up if they hold off BYU..

SJSU is a non-issue as far as the polls go.

Both Kent and NIU will be ranked in at least some of the polls. Both probably will not make it into the BCS standings.
