SBC refs call personal fouls at minimum 3 times because we tackled too hard!? And how do you call a humble recovered by asu before u get the pile totally uncovered and the Troy player walks out with the ball?
Not being a sore loser. Asu is good and out played us. But damn. Those refs were awful! Never seen such a bad call.... The refs were nearly punched in the face by one of our players.... I wanted so bad to do it myself.... The refs at the end of game were escorted out lol
To be fair, the rules against tackling are set by the NCAA...not invented by those refs.
I did laugh when your guy came out of the pile with the ball, but the ref gave it to us...cant review that.

I agree. There was a facemask against Troy that went uncalled as well. These are the worst refs I have ever seen.

The tackles made by Troy players weren't malicious, they were simple, normal tackles you see everyday. The NCAA rules are for malicious hits, head-to-head hits, etc. If these are NCAA standards for tackling, then I guess anytime anybody gets tackled it should be a foul.

Ok guys you are sounding like a bunch of whipped girls, we lost. ASU you guys played a great game and Aplin has grown alot as a QB since last time I saw him play. He uses his head and makes good decisions, and he has a decent running ability. Great game guys good luck with the rest of the season and in the post season :) Go Troy!!!!
I've NEVER seen Troy fans so pissed off. I just knew some fans were going to storm the field and hit someone. It was that bad. Hope your children wernt at this game.
It's nearly like the refs want a ASU MTSU matchup for the championship.

Venting and stating something that wasn't right.
ASU won. Point blank. But calls for sure went their way when it was obvious. Heck one ASU guy even agreed about the humble. That was game changer.
I'm not saying refs gave the game away. ASU was better at the end of the day. I'm just frustrated that our teams have to deal with these middle school referees every Saturday.

Offense gets a B. wasn't as good as the last two weeks but still did a good job! 3 times we get in red zone and only get 3. Twice on the 1.
You can't hit receivers in the head. You don't get the ball just because you get up and run around with it after the officials have already awarded the ball to the other team.
BTW, what team had a player ejected? That's what I thought.
You know the officials stunk when both teams fans are upset with them. Our board is convinced Karl Benson is going to try and keep us from winning the league. Its quite amusing really.
Refs called ball ULMs a couple weeks ago when asu came out of pile on a onside kick! So not the first fk job by sbc refs
I'm not even pissed about the ejection because I didn't start watching the video until halftime, but from what I have read, Jones probably deserved the ejection.

We'll know by Tuesday what the league thought of the hits.
The hits were shoulder led, not helmet led. I was in a skybox so I saw the hits live and the replays on the TV immediately afterwards.
belt refs are what make belt football hard to watch imo and it will be difficult to be taken seriously as a league until we improve officiating a tad.
