Spiders Announce TV Package With WTVR-TV6

The Richmond Spiders have partnered with WTVR-TV, the local CBS affiliate, to bring more Spider men's basketball telecasts to the Central Virginia viewing area. In addition to the games already scheduled for network and regional television, the Spiders and WTVR are adding five of the most attractive games to their TV schedule on Channel 6 and Digital Channel 6.3.
The Spiders have also added another national telecast to the slate, as the Tue. Dec. 4 game at Old Dominion is now scheduled to be carried by the NBC Sports Network. Tip-off is 7 p.m.
The WTVR schedule begins with a Sat. Dec. 29 home game airing on Channel 6, when Richmond welcomes a perennial NCAA team and longtime rival, Davidson, to the Robins Center for a 6 p.m. contest.
