I'll have to say I'm surprised how this reference has taken off for our little ole conference. If the MAC can sustain the momentum through the end of the year and beyond, that derisive phrase, "bottom feeder", should be heard much less frequently.

I agree. (The B1G should hire Steinbrecher to come up with some decent names for their divisions.) Glad to see the conference finally get some respect.

But of all the years to (probably) have such sheety, low caliber opponents in bowls. Give me some meddling Big 10 program to beat up on!

MAC had some good OOC wins this year, I don't worry about the perceived quality of bowl opponents.

Better to win them, and say "6-0 in bowl games!" Than even lose a couple against perceived better teams. And bowl games are never sure things.

I'm trying to push the MAC to adopt this officially and market it. Heck, they should trademark it.

Yea, I feel like the MAC is blowing a perfect opportunity right now to capitalize on MACtion. By the time they do something, the buxx will have already passed

Best thing for the MAC right now would be to have two ranked teams that are both 11-1 (8-0 MAC) play for the Championship. ESPN and the MAC could really hype that matchup.

Not really. Isn't MACtion supposed to be high scoring, close games? No midweek games played in the MAC have been both this year.
