So since last Wednesday I've seen numerous friends via Facebook foretell that on March 23, 2013, we're all going to be implanted with microchips to comply with Obamacare and it's the Mark of the Beast. They even posted a video (to be honest I didn't watch the video).
So like a good boy I decided to check the internets pertaining to these chips and I cannot for the life of me find where we are to be implanted with any chips due to any healthcare act or on a certain date.
Am I missing something?

RFIDs are being used in hospitals in sync with EMRs to track just about everything from the actual patient, to labs, to blood. The patients RFID is usually in their wristband. The infrastructure is very expensive, most are only in large hospital systems.

The real reason they're delaying this by a few months is because higher output chips have just been developed that will allow easier tracking of people who are in tunnels, under water, on planes, etc. There's also a destruct mechanism in it that will explode, killing the host, if it is found he or she has an expensive disease.

The tunnels have all been equipped with receivers to enable tracking. It was the infrastructure part the stimulus bill. Yet the right wing continues to promote the stimulus as a failure to continue their agenda.
The current chips allow for wireless updating of the software as enhancements are made.
However I will admit that there still is that pesky issue with tin foil hats.

One more myth. Those receivers never got installed...just empty boxes. And even if they do get fully installed, they won't work b/c they're shutting down the coal-fired electric plants that power them.
