Our first UAB Athletics Hall of Fame class included:

Gene Bartow (Men's Basketball Coach)
Wanda Hightower (Women' Basketball)
Dr. S. Richardson Hill (Univ. President)
Oliver Robinson (Men's Basketball)
Jerry Young (Adminstrator, UAB and Sunbelt Conference)

Who should be our next inductees?
My next 3 would be:

Harry "The Hat" Walker
Steve Mitchell
Gary Sanders
Jim Hilyer
58-56
Pardon my ignorance. I know Walker had a long list of accomplishments prior to coming to UAB, but what were his accomplishments at UAB? Honest question.

Some of you are really watering it down with only the second class.

My vote would be
Steve Mitchell
Carlos Williams
Harry Walker
Roddy White
Jim Hilyer
Steve MitchelL
Jim Hilyer
Gary Sanders
Roddy White
Graeme McDowell
I normally would not have someone on the list yet until they retired, so those like Roddy, Graeme, etc. would not be included right now.

Ogg
Mo
Joe Webb
Hackney should get in before Webb, in my opinion.

Webb accomplished more individually, but Hackney took UAB further
