There are three legitimate favorites heading to Geneva. Ohio is the top seed and came on very strong at the end; WMU is a very deserving MAC West champion and is all but a lock to get an at-large bid if it doesn't win the tourney outright and Bowling Green is the sleeper team that might be the scariest squad in the field. That's before you look at an NIU outfit that keeps growing and the defending tournament champs from CMU.
All in all, it's going to be a great tournament.

Lauren Wicinski should have been a junior at NIU this fall (she won MAC POTY as a fresh and soph). She transferred to Mich St.
So WMU is an at-large lock and BG is the scariest team, yet Ohio has the highest RPI and won the conference. Got it.
Don't kid yourself, there are no at-large bids for this MAC this year. Can anyone find a quality win by just 1 of the 12 teams in this conference this year?
