An article in the Pilot this morning mentioned that even though the football team will not be recognized by the CAA as league champions should they win next week against JMU, the university will recognize them in some fashion (albeit rings or jackets or some type of award).
This not only applies to football, but to any sport that has the best CAA record at the end of their season this year.
I thought that was an awesome gesture by Selig and Broderick.
The CAA can deny us a trophy, but they can't take away our record or our accomplishments.
