On the main MAC board, a lot of well deserved crowing about MAC FB. Some pundits in the media have the MAC getting six or more (UNBELIEVABLE) bowl bids.
However, MAC hoops, didn't show much yesterday. Some losses were embarrassing.
Coastal Carolina (I guess that school is in one of the Carolinas, North) beat Akron.
NE-Omaha beat NIU. NE-Omaha moved up to D-I I believe because they had a powerful non-revenue sport (wrestling???) they wanted to get in with the big boys (no pun intended).
Loyola (IL) beat Toledo.
Kent, however, beat a very good Drexel team.
And EMU showed a lot of talent (ah, we already know that)...
And Ohio well they haven't played yet... (Maybe Ohio and EMU in CLE for a NCAA bid?)
