I am not sure how many band members and Cardinal Lot tailgaters roam this site but I would be interested in your feedback. Parking in the Cardinal lot we always enjoy walking over in front of Douglas Hall prior to the game to listen to the band warm up. Problem is, after they are done they march directly to the stadium without engaging the fan base. Due to construction the last two games the band has marched over to the east edge of the Cardinal lot on their way to the stadium. The fans along this edge of the lot love it. Why not warm up on the basketball courts in front of Stevenson Towers? Lots of space and fans. Tailgating surrounds the court and this would go along way in getting the fans engergized and would be a great experience for the band members. Another perk for the Cardinal lot donors as well. After warming up the band could then march through the Cardinal lot engage the fans and go over to the stadium.
