Its out of place compared to other buildings. The curved glass would have looked much better than the squished in the middle oval. Not an awful building, but it is odd. At least its not "library ugly". Another case of close, but no cigar.

I like it mostly, but don't get or like the dent at all.

The dent is there so when you are driving up Hampton Blvd from the south you can clearly see an "O" and "D" and "U" from the marquee up top. If it were just a semi-circle you'd only be able to see "OLD DOM" and we know how hard we have been trying to fix that

It's so people know they're on the campus of ODU!!!

For how common lion logos are in the sports/college world, I always wonder why they did such a crappy job putting together our lion logo.

I would think the interlocking O and D would be protected by either ODU. It's weird that they're so similar.

Its as if our Baseball logo was mixed with our other logo and turned yellow and black. (ugh) I always liked the baseball logo and wish we would use it for other sports. Its simple but very collegiate looking. We've had the current logo for around 15 years I think. I still like it for the most part. It looks good on most things. I'm not a huge fan of the puffy crown version, but the shield (when not reversed) and swatting lion are fine by me.

My wife thought Old Dominion trucking was somehow associated with our school too. She is otherwise a brilliant woman.

You know what... The OD Freight Line logo kinda looks like the Ohio Dominican "OD" logo lol

I think U of Wisconsin went after Washburn U several years back because of the slant of their standalone W and Washburn changed it soon thereafter. You'd think the real ODU would step up and challenge in this case. That interlocking ODU definitely looks like a protected logo violation to me.

How long has Ohio had that logo?

If it weren't for the fact that Ohio Dominican shared the same initials, I wouldn't know they exist. They aren't even close to the same colors. I'm at a loss as to why we should care.
