Is EMU the worst team in FBS history? I've been researching and I believe the EMU football program is one of the worst, if not the worst. When is enough enough?

Just as Fordham doesn't prevent the A10 from placing 4 teams in the NCAA tourney, Eastern Michigan doesn't prevent the MAC from winning 4 bowl games....

Fordham has a rich history of basketball. Did you know Fordham played Pittsburgh in the first televised college basketball game?

A stronger EMU, Akron, Buffalo, and Umass next year will make the MAC that much better. Problem with EMU is their attendence in football is ridiculous and they dont floor a good basketball team... Those being the 2 sports that creates perception and pays the bills. The poor football teams in other conferences are at least usually better in basketball. (kanas, kentucky, indiana to name 3.)

Keep an eye on this year's hoops squad. There are about to be some good games played in the EMU Convocation Center.

I was a bit surprised at the results.

Did you look at Buffalo, Kent, Akron, in football? Except for last season, Kent had a worse record than Eastern.

EMU will never draw well, through no fault of their own (although if a fault opened up under UM's Stadium it might help). But they have had decent football teams and will again.
