Wouldn't Ohio need to make a BCS game to be the new Boise St? How are they going to do this now with 1 loss? I thought they were going to roll through the MAC season....
Yes!
Cant we all just be proud of having all these BCS wins + 2 8-1 teams and 2 7-1 teams? Jeesh.
NIU = New Boise

Ohio = New Marshall

Can we count on a big EMU contingent in Athens this Thursday?

Find a new schtick. In a very short time you have grown very tiresome.

I asked a question. Is that against the rules?

Dave has a point...your "question" follows a theme.

And to the original poster, I don't know your intent, but it looks to me like flaming...
Boise can't even get into BCS games. So even Boise isn't the new Boise.

I was just curious if the possibility of snow would change the numbers we could expect from EMU. Not sure what conclusions you two are trying to draw from my question. I am hoping for a nice crowd Thursday.
Since Ohio has such a good crowd at home, does it really matter? Aren't they going to get a sellout anyway?

It matters to me personally, I enjoy games where I can heckle opposing fans (politely in good fun, of course). I doubt we have a sellout, but I'd imagine we still have a good crowd by the standards set in the MAC.
Considering how often we get reminded that few fans are at EMU games, you really think a lot of them are going to travel to Ohio to see them, with or without snow? Really?

I'm not sure how many we can expect, which is why I asked. 5? 50? 100? 1000? 10000?

How many did other schools bring? Take that number and divide by 10.

It varied quite a bit. Surprisingly, Norfolk State had a very nice showing. Also, this is our first weekday game which surely will make travelling difficult, even for diehard Eagles and Bobcats fans.
Chances are you will have no clue how many EMU fans are in attendance. Everyone will be wearing green.

The number could be 5 or 5000....too tough to call.
