Eight MAC teams bowling, and not a single matchup with a BCS team. How does going 8-0 in bowls sound? It looks entirely possible.
If this was actually the lineup (couple things that look pretty unlikely though), I'm pretty sure at least Ball State and Miami would be overmatched. And I really don't see WMU getting to 6.
Outside of the Little Caesar's I'm hoping Kent State gets to either the Military or Pinstripe Bowl. After many years of waiting I'm elated with anything, but these make things easiest.
I think Kent State is going to win the MAC East. That will probably send them to the game in Mobile where they have a guaranteed 400k payout.

Ohio will probably end up as the MAC #4 team and pitched out to DC which is only 5 hours away from Athens.
If WMU gets to any bowl, I hope it's the pizza bowl again. That's a drive I can handle. From Kzoo = ~2 hours, from home ~35-40 minutes...

Anything else would probably not entice me to go...

Mapquest shows Athens as 355 miles from DC and taking 6:21 to get there. Great place to be that time of the year with so much sightseeing to do. Of course sunny locations would be nicer but making it to a location by car/bus makes it much easier on the fans to afford.
I can't even fathom "Broncos" and "bowl game" being uttered in the same sentence right now, unless the topic is about Boise State.

as much as i'd like us to win the MAC championship this year, the good thing about not winning it would be possibly playing in a different bowl, such as the one in DC or the one in NYC. i'd definitely go to those bowls to see us play.
It's CMU week. Is Cubit's job on the line in this game? 3-5 with a loss to your rival again after some picked WMU to be fighting for the West title. Or is he safe for at least another year?

It's an on-going debate, and in short...Cubit's job heavily weighs on the Broncos' performance next weekend.

We'll see how the rest of the season plays out, but it's been looking worse and worse for Cubit lately.
I want that Beef o Bradys bowl so bad! works the best with the school schedule and its warm!

Its all open highway until you get to DC...355 miles/70 mph is just over 5 hours.
Until you get to DC and those last few miles take an hour.

...anyways...Each of the 3 MAC bowls have a 400k payout with no ticket minimums.

Right.

I would take that first if offered but DC is the next best alternative for Ohio.

Correction I think its $350k payout with no ticket minimums for the 3 MAC bowls.

No.... I want that Bowl for NIU. Because apparently the Gator Bowl is out of the question. Ridiculous!

- Why does he have a * next to NIU?

- If Tenn or Mizzu get bowl eligible (along with Vandy and Ole Miss) then the BBVA will have a SEC team...either Ole Miss or Mizzu.

- Independence, Military and BBVA bowls are all a 1mil+ game per team payouts. They are going to be bending over backwards to get the best match up for their bowls. (less so for the BBVA if a SEC team is in the game cause they don't want their powerful friends to lose to a MAC team)

My guess is...
Military - Kent St
Independence - NIU
BBVA - Ohio if not vs SEC and Miami/BGSU/BSU if vs SEC team.
