The 2 Big East teams from the west to give the Big East Conference a taste of what to come. SDSU (6-3 Overall 4-1 2ND MWC) VS. Boise State (7-1 Overall 4-0 1ST MWC) on "The Blue" @ 10:30 eastern time on CBS Sports Network.
Should be a good one. Welcome to Boise Aztecs and be prepared for the butt whipping you all will receive!

It's too bad this isn't the Thursday night Game of the Week. It would probably provide a better quality game than the currently scheduled 4-4 Hokies vs. 4-4 Canes.

ESPN can have the ACC.
Looking forward to it. Gonna be a fun game. It will be a tough but not impossible win for SDSU to get. The one time a year I don't root for Boise State.
Boise winning this game is best for the Big East in 2012 and the start of the 2013 season. 03-idea

Heh heh. Slick. How about the end of 2013, Wilkie? 03-lmfao
Who would have thought before the season that the Aztecs and Boise State would be playing for first place in the MWC near the end of the season.

The Aztecs will need to play a near perfect game (no turnovers and get a few breaks) to win this one.

The odds will be favoring Boise State big time...but...the Aztecs are very capable of pulling off this upset.

Go Aztecs!!!

***By the way, for those who don't know much about Aztec football and its history. With the win over UNLV yesterday the Aztecs are Bowl Eligible for the third straight season...which has never happened before in the history of San Diego State D1 football.

A perfect scenario for me would be for SDSU to win the rest of our games. If that were to happen SDSU and Boise State would exit the MWC as Co-Champions.

Boise State would likely be chosen to play in the Las Vegas Bowl vs PAC 12. SDSU would likely play in San Diego in the Poinsettia Bowl vs our arch rival BYU.

I hope this happens... Especially if we can thump BYU!
The Aztecs could of and should of been 6-1 going into this game. They are better than their record suggest. The Washington game was a wash and a team finding their footing (Not that losing to the Huskies is a bad thing) and they should of beat SJSU. The Fresno game was a rivalry game where anything can happen.
This is not gonna be an easy win for Boise and Boise has let 2 games slip away by a missed field goal 2 years in a row. And SDSU I think have proven with 3 strait bowl games they are here to stay.
I have Boise winning a surprisingly sloppy but fun to watch shootout 38-33.

Note- Check out the pic of The Blue. Aside form that gorgeous blur rug it is starting to look like a nice college football stadium!
I watched some of the BSU game yesterday and saw a DB go down with a knee injury. His wore number 1 on his jersey, also saw another player go down. Can a Broncos fan give an update on the team injures.

I'm just glad you guys didn't use that orange color for your football turf. Otherwise, I never would have been able to watch another Boise home game the rest of my life. 03-lmfao

At least you have your own stadium. I hate Qualcomm. I hope in the next 10 years SDSU will build their own SDSU OWNED stadium. I also hope the Chargers leave San Diego. That would be a great day for SDSU indeed.

LOL! You guys are sounding like us (regarding the Bengals) 04-cheers
In the game notes and the press conference Pete did not say anything about injuries and if he was asked he would not give a full answer anyways. They normally do not give that kind of info unless it was serious so I am sure they are fine.
Our problem is we always have 1 or 2 suspended every week.

I thought you guys only recruited exemplary kids? 03-lmfao
There's only 2 schools that have a legit chance of beating Boise:

SDSU this weekend
@ Nevada on December 1

Hawaii and Colorado State are terrible.

For the good of the future Big East, I hope Boise runs the table.

Boise has 2 really nice basketball arena's. There is Taco Bell where the Broncos play and Century Link where our NBA farm team plays. I actually like Century Link better because it is smaller.
It is embarrassing going to Bronco hoop games and the stadium only being a 1/3 full. Funny enough, our attendance was better when we were in the Big West.
At least Qualcomm is updated to today's standards. Bronco Stadium and TB Arena are in need of upgrades. The Big East gives us that now. 04-rock
I would be pretty shocked if the guy I saw go down with the knee injury played next week. I ask because I think the BSU run defense is going to limit the Aztecs ability to run so the passing game might have to be used to set up the run.

Also that little quick number eleven is going to be a nightmare on offense.
At Nevada would definitely be tough. Two NBE teams managed to escape one-point wins there. And, I don't expect the MWC offiicials to do them any favors on their way out.

Our only requirements are they become eligible for a CDL and they only buy Idaho grown Veggies. 03-lmfao 04-cheers

I bet Taco Bell will have more folks when Memphis shows up there. 04-cheers
