I think there is a fourth reason.
They want to challenge the city to come up with an alternative way to pay for this stadium.

I disagree. I believe the people voting no in that poll think voting against prop #3 means they are killing the stadium. The informed voter knows otherwise.
All I got from that poll was that someone stayed up all night clearing cookies and voting multiple times.
