While I'm not a big Glenn Beck fan, I caught a clip from what I assumed was his TV show. He showed the part of the debate where Obama challenged Romney's version of the sequestration argument where Obama said it was untrue and then demanded that everybody fact check it.
Even MSNBC fact checkers came to the conclusion that Obama was wrong, as did most others.
Yet, Beck showed a clip of him back out on the campaign trail telling the same untruths after fact checkers almost unanimously called his charges false.
This is the kind of man who wants another term - one who plays very loose with the facts, apparently unconcerned about the truth and more concerned with getting re-elected. Who continues to tell bald faced lies after being called on them by even his compliant media. After his demand to be fact checked shows him wrong, he just shrugs it off and continues to spout untruths.
Beck points to evidence that Stevens and others (the seals - CIA contractors) were there in Benghazi trying to track down the weapons that disappeared and buy them back. Beck also pointed out the connections btw the leaders of the Benghazi militia hired to provide security at the consulate to the Muslim Brotherhood. Whose bright idea was it to hire the enemy to protect the consulate? Who ordered the drone to be over Benghazi on that night? It often takes several weeks to have a drone request acted upon, according to military sources.
Too many Q. left unanswered in all of this. If this was an incumbent GOP President approaching an election, this would be front page news for weeks. As it is, just like F&F, the MSM gatekeepers refuse to cover it much, so the Obama surrogates can try and paint it as an entirely political response. That's rubbish and Americans that are paying attention know it.
We all know that politicians play fast and loose with facts and often misdirect attention. But this is pure politics. IF/when the entire truth comes out (way after the election, I presume) it will be clear that this coverup is to save their narrative (from their worldview) that AQ is almost defeated, when the reality is that intelligence says that AQ is resurgent in Libya and N. Africa in general.
Former UN ambassador Bolton said there are 2 possible explanations - incompetance or, more likely in his opinion, the worldview and ideology of Obama's administration won't allow them to process REALITY when it is placed squarely right in front of their eyes.
