I know the MAC doesnt sponsor rugby but I was wondering which MAC schools have a rugby club and how good are they and how their current season is going.

I think BG is usually nationally ranked in the club system.
Yes, BG is highly successful. They've played in some of the Rugby 7s televised events.

Looking at the current season's schedule, they play NIU, WMU, Ball State, CMU, Ohio and Miami. None of the played games were close.

UB has a pretty good squad.. UB rugby has won 4 championships of the NYSRC Upstate Division 1 Tournament.
I believe this is the first year the MAC has its own confernce for club rugby. UB did not join it because as mentioned earlier they are in another conference. You think football re-alignment is bad. Rugby has been insane the last few years. The Big 10 and some others have tried to split and create a 'BCS' like sub category. I think they took a big hit this season when the best club rugby teams in the US dropped out and went back to the division BG is in. Cal and BYU both said bye bye but I don't know the reasons. I love rugby 15s because BG destroys B10 teams. Rugby 7s not so much.

I believe BG needs a win or two to to get into a playoff if they are not already in. Its tough to get up to date info on rugby.

Both Miami and Buffalo have been decent in recent years.
I played rugby at NIU in the 90's. I think they have always had one of the better teams in the MAC....

Still finding old martini olives between my butt cheeks...
