According to Steve Bell's twitter...we offered Otsego sophomore Seth Dugan.

Only thing I've heard is that he is better than his older brother Reid.

3 full years to mature and grow. It's really too early to determine anything about his style of play. You can't teach 6'10" though.
Get him into some of the off season workouts and playing against Shayne and Darious, and see how he develops.

I wonder what the 'why don't you recruit local' people will say
Even if he doesn't have that great of a game yet, he could develop as he gets used to his size. Guys that size have value to stash and develop. You can teach and develop basketball skills with coaching. You can't teach that size. Sounds like a good type of player to follow.
Of course I type that, and then I remember Steve Green.

I'd try to get his older brother as a walk on. He's much more polished then Nick Stapert was as junior. I'd think it would be an attractive situation with his bro, and Klein. Hawk has a pretty good eye for centers in my opinion.

I think he gave a verbal to a DII school already.

I'm not positive but I thought it was Saginaw Valley.
I was told last night by a friend that Seth Dugan has committed to the Broncos. He was at the game last night wearing a Broncos sweatshirt with his brother Reid. Anyone able to confirm that Seth has committed?

I find it interesting that we are going after 2015 recruits. Anyone else have questions or thoughts [/align]about that strategy?
You're right, I saw them both in attendance too. Saw them at Breakfast with the Broncos also. I haven't been able to confirm anything on a commitment yet, but I'm working on it... would be interesting to see what happens to his brother Reid ('13) too in that case.

As far as going after a 2015 recruit, I don't see why not. They've thrown out several offers to '14 and '15 kids and it just so happens (if it's true) that one stuck. WMU is going to need big men down the road. I still think they go after at least one more big man in the 2014 class.

Hasn't committed.
