Because all I heard from the MWC fans was that the Big East would never be ranked high, that the teams suck, the media hates you and is right about you, this and that. Now, MWC fans are whining that West Virginia and Louisville are ranked because of East Coast bias, and that the media will do anything they can to make the Big East look good. I'm confused. The media hates the Big East so much that they'll trash them AND keep them ranked high? Can't be the play on the field, no sir! 03-razz
Here is a fact that they MUST accept. TCU at 9-1 has beaten only ONE Bowl eligible team a 6-3 Oklahoma. Six of their eleven wins are vs losing teams and their loss was to a 3-6 team.Thats the reason they are not ranked higher
I hear what your saying there Claw. But I could care less what those mountain hillbilly bcs wannabees think about the BE. They are just so envious. They think they are entitled to the bcs with such lousy play from their teams. They may only get 3 teams bowl eligible again this year, at the very most they will get 4.

The thing that is so ridiculous with them is that everytime they talk about being bcs worthy or passing up the BE, they have to include Fresno, Utep and Boise in their equasion just to even get close to the BE ratings. 03-confused pittiful.

The BE is meeting the bcs criteria with what we have. They are trying to reach the bcs criteria by raiding other conferences. This they think entitles them to a bcs auto bid.
Exactly. The part about TCU only beating one bowl eligible team is a BIG deal. MWC fans think that TCU will finish #12 in the rankings, but right now they are #18 or #17, and have one more game left, against a horrible UNLV team, and are done for the year, BCS rankings wise, while West Virginia and Louisville can make hay. As cuse mentioned, the Big East is EASILY meeting all requirements. The Big East will finish the season in the Top 6 in conferences, obviously have the market, will finish with 2 Top 25 teams in the BCS and should finish with a Top 12 team assuming West Virginia, and maybe even Louisville, takes care of business since all the Big East needs is for a team to finish #14 to have an average Top 12 ranking the last few years. And they will have done this for 2 years straight counting the "New" Big East. The MWC's claim to fame is having one team get hot and the rest of the conference to suck crap so that that one team can kick around the other teams. No market size, and won't have a 2nd team ranked in the Top 25. And adding Boise State and Fresno State would give them a 2nd Top 25 team but wouldn't make them a Top 6 conference (the stats show they would still be #7), and no market size. Sucks for them, but that's reality! 03-razz
MWC fans should not confuse this year's TCU with last year's Utah. Utah was very deserving of a high ranking and a BCS bowl. TCU is not.

Don't pick on the MWC fans. If you don't have anything positive to say about them, don't say anything at all. Just be happy for TCU who is having a great season for them.

Remember that when you're calling out Rutgers. 03-wink
Oh, no sir, I'm a changed man. Not a harsh word shall pass from my fingers again. It hurts too many feelings on this board. And I only hope others follow suit so we can have a giant love fest in this utopia!
They think just because one team from their conference goes to the BCS they all can, WRONG!!!! Those idiots have so little oxygen to think about the way of the BCS, the BCS always does't like the mid-majors. (UL has learned from the CUSA) When you lose to a forever floundering SMU team, you don't deserve to pay a visit to a BCS bowl
We're red headed step children. Hated by the other BCS conferences and the non BCS conferences alike.
Check out this thread. I tried to debate them with good manners since I'm a visitor. This moron from BYU was accusing me of everthing but was wrong on everything. Hilarious--I made sure I washed my hands when I came back.
IMHO, TCU is a very good team. Probably on rough equal footing with WVU/Louisville and USF. TCU probably is capable of holding there own in the BE. I'm just not convinced they would be any better than our Top 3 and would finish behind WVU and UL.
