Alright, where are you going to be on Friday night?

Some of my family are heading to Hoops on the Haasephalt.
I expect there will be a good crowd there.

It certainly beats going to the disaster that will happen to Minor at the hands of Hoover.

Jordan goes on the road to play the Fighting John Holladay's (former UAB QB).

Jordan wrapped up a playoff spot last week with a victory over Hayden. Now, they have a chance to move into a 3 way tie with Pinson & Walker should they beat Walker. It also is the ABC 33/40 game of the week.

The anchor of Jordan's team - Brandon Spears, went down with some type of shoulder injury last week. Not sure if he will play this week, but I would be shocked if he didn't play.

Jordan has scored 60 more points this season than Walker, but has also given up 50 more points as well.

Jordan's offense has been downright explosive all season. The defense has played well the last 5 weeks (all victories) against weaker opponents.

I look for this to be a close game for 3 quarters, however I expect the home team to pull it out in the 4th. We shall see.

Next week the Blue Devils head to play the Center Point Illegal Traffic Lights.

I'll be there with anywhere from 1-3 others.

My family and I are headed downtown tomorrow night. Looking forward to it.

Side note: There is a guy at my daughter's high school that has a deer head mounted on the back of the window of his truck.

I'll be there, headed down there after work. Anyone know if Snoozy's is going to stay open? Need some UAB gear for cold weather.

I'll be at the "Haasephalt" event, first and foremost. Contemplating going later to watch the Parker Thundering Herd extinguish the fire of the red-hot Wenonah Dragons in high school football tonight. It's pretty active around these parts this time of year. I like that a lot. Go Blazers! Go Herd!!!
