It helps to actually read the article! If the Devils go 6-5 then ASU gets ASU's bowl bid.

Also, they are a likely bowl team, but far from a sure thing. Currently 5-4, they play @ UCLA Saturday, and the Bruins will be looking to make up some respect. UCLA is a 3.5 point favorite.
They finish with 3-6 Arizona. Certainly they should win that, but Zona's new QB is 2-0 since he made 1st team and its a rivalry, so who knows what will happen.
Naughty teams do not always get punished. Both OHIO STATE and COLORADO have shots at BCS bids.
