I got a call from Robert Williams asking me to attend. It must be some kind of UAB marketing strategy. I suggested a few dunks that he could do including using me as a prop and jumping over me. I had him in stitches.

Our basketball season tickets go through my wife, a UAB employee. Rob called her and thanked her for the scholarship donation. I thought that was a very nice touch.
And no, we didn't get a Cheesecake Factory invite.
