Enjoy your wins but remember you beat two struggling teams that could easily have been two losses. Still you guys are 2-0 so enjoy it.
It wasn't just pundits saying we wouldn't win a game....it was most of the people online too. I don't know how many times I read, "Temple won't be competitive," "Temple shouldn't be added to the Big East," "Philly is a pro town," etc etc.

We have a long ways to go...but, at least, we're proving that we are competitive even with a team of mostly freshman that were recruited in the MAC.
I always had faith in you guys because I knew Syracuse and Pitt was on the schedule.

Next week will be fun. Should be a great atmosphere. Philly may be a college FB town yet.

CAN'T WAIT!!!
UCONN gave that game away. I am sorry when you missed 4 FGs you don't deserve to win. I just hope we fire the coach before end of this season.

Im sure I had Temple finishing in the middle of the pack. Its gonna get a little tougher the rest of the way.
I always stick up for Temple when they get knocked. Outstanding hoops program & I think Adazzio (sp?) can win there. Good addition to the BE IYAM. Not to mention good market penetration.
2-0 is still 2-0 but remember starting next week you play your 1st of 3 Ranked BIG EAST Schools.

UConn & USF are good wins but they are not Rutgers...Cincinnati & Louisville.

It’s going to get a LOT tougher the rest of the way. The thing I’m most proud about is how the team fights and competes, and they hopefully are showing everyone they aren’t the easy win everyone expected them to be.

IMO the Big East is divided into 2 divisions, the “Louisville, Rutgers, Cincinnati” division, and the “everyone else” division. If Temple can win the “everyone else” division and play the big 3 tough, I think the first season back competing in the Big East with a young MAC roster will be considered a success.

Agreed... And we're looking forward to the challenge. 04-cheers

Congrats Temple. UConn is now 2-2 vs the MAC this year.
Temple deserves congrats 04-bow

Word of advice to the OP though. You'll enjoy life much better by just enjoying your win, and not worrying about what anyone else thinks.
Go Owls. Thanks for representing the newcomers well.

We also beat two BE teams with a bunch of freshmen and sophomores.
