Yes in deed...I remember seeing Bud Lynch at the old Joe Muir s restaurant on Gratiot he hung out at the bar before the games sipping on Jack Daniels. He was certainly a Detroit treasure!

Yeah, he was a fixture there. Also liked to do dinner at Carls after weekend day games back in the day.

I met Budd in 2006 at the CCHA title game. I believe he had been out of commission for a few years before deciding to come back. I've never seen a Wings game at the Joe, so my memories of Budd are all college related. Just a different perspective.
