Very sad news, Rodney Taylor passed away. Not sure of the cause but unexpected to say the least. Rodney was an awesome guy, huge heart, and I agree pound for pound one of the best to ever play at NIU. When I was a freshman Rodney made me feel welcome and would spend hours with me on the field catching balls. He had a smile you could see 60 yards!!!! Love you buddy, RIP.

I got the news about Rodney Taylor from John Ivanic. Prayers go out to his family.

How old was RT?.... If playing during mid eighties, he musta been mid/late fourties...

Did he NOT often return to NIU alot ?
