Was cleaning out part of the basement this week, and found a Kalamazoo Gazette section in a box used for storage. Here are some of the interesting tidbits:

- You could buy a set of 4 tires for your car for $79.95

- A 1970 Oldsmobile F-85 Sports Coupe sold for $2485.00

- You could get a new 1970 Chrysler Newport for $3388

- A job as a File Clerk at City Hall would bring you $95/week

- A Cost Accountant could make $8400 a year

- An R.N. Supervisor could make $4.50/hour

- A Housekeeper could make $25/week for a 35 hour work week

- A 2 bedroom apartment in a nice apartment complex with a pool and clubhouse was $140 per month.

Was a Junior at K-Central.

I remember the '60s, I have pictures of the '70s.
