Nice road win UC. Where are all those Syrupcuse fans that were beating their chests in the the summer?
This team played with a ton of poise and heart in this game, on the road, against a desperate team. This team is growing up fast! When Syracuse jumped in front 7-0 immediately this team could have folded. Instead they responded with 14 unanswered points and ran the ball at will. And when Syracuse took a 16-14 lead UC responded with outstanding defense, scoring on defense, and shutting down the 'Cuse for a GUTSY win! Great effort!

If I remember correctly, it was the Louisville fans that were thumping their chests. I believe they were using the term " savior of the BE". :D
I didn't use the word savior. I reserve that for one person. However, I did think UofL would go undefeated this season. Gosh, I wish we could go back and see everyone's preseason Big East picks!
As Dan Hoard the radio announcer said, "The youngest D-I team is now 4-4". That ain't too shabby.

Not sure were all the vitriol comes from about Syracuse. Most Cuse fans expected to be anywhere from 5-6 to 7-4 this season. Myself included. Our current 1-7 record is an embarassment. You want me to jump up and down saying, "We suck!"?
Thankfully basketball season is almost here.
