Okay, in leiu of another attendance thread.....who is everyone's all-time favorite Huskie football player? I would do a poll but there's probably too many possibilities, especially for the older fans.
My favorite is still Wolfe, though I'd probably put Harnish second.
Wolfe. Witnessing his first 5 weeks of the 2006 season my Freshman year was what got me into Huskie football. Dude was straight filth. Still think he could've been a Heisman finalist if he had two hamstrings the whole year. Wasn't the same player starting with the Iowa game.

Better exercise. If you could do a team of all your favorite huskies...who would they be? 11 Offensive, 11 Defensive, P, K.
I don't have time to do that right now...so someone else take the initiative!
I don't know enough of the linemen really. For kickers I'd go with Steve Azar. Maybe Jake Nordin for TE. Hollis Thomas, Ron Delisi, Randy Drew for a few more. Adam Dach for fullback.
Turner...not vouching for the man by any means. but a guy who could break 60-80 yard runs after running through a linebacker is fun to watch in my book. This was in his 225-230 lb days when he was really fast.
I always like Turner as a player. Harnish too. I've met him a number of times and always seems to be a genuine guy, a leader who realizes that he has been given a gift and respects everyone around him for their own individual gifts.
Steve Azar too. Don't know why, just always like the guy. Doug Free was always cool, he used to come hang out with us at open parties. He'd show up on a little scooter with an NIU sticker on the front and park it on our lawn.
I have grown to like Chad Spann more. I follow him on Twitter and the idea that he isn't giving up on his dream is really motivating.

Turner may not have the afterburners (no, not AJ Harris) any more but the guy can still run. From last Sunday's game:
My username kind of gives it a way, lol. I was a Freshman at NIU and it was after I watched this incredible run by Wolfe that I became a huge fan. I remember I got goose bumps when I saw this.
Garrett Wolfe was so damn much fun to watch...he was just amazing! Chandler Harnish...also amazing to watch.
They are both my favorites although I have met Chandler personally a couple times and he's just a super great kid.
I can't put one over the other as players. Love them both.
