For the love of GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! When will this stop!!!!!!
“So we’re set and so is everyone else in the Big 12 for the next 13 years,” Hance said. “Will there be additions? Maybe. I felt like Louisville would have been a great addition. They have a large TV market in Kentucky and Ohio, Indiana.

“They’re closer than West Virginia. I’m glad we have West Virginia, but I would have preferred Louisville over West Virginia. But I’m glad West Virginia’s in. If we add other schools, I would think Louisville would be at the top of the list.”

That sounds like TT would have been happier with Louisville BUT the first part of this quote indicates they are content with what they have now. Top choice in the future, I think a lot of us would agree that to be the case, but it's statements like this both publicly and privately that suggest at best it's still quite a few years down the line. Louisville has to convince the B12 that 12 is the way to go and they have to convince the TV partners to up the contract so no one is taking a paycut.

That said, nice link, it's always interesting to read about the perspective from the actual players involved in these things.

This should be on the louisville board or the expansion board. I'm glad to hear it but this is the wrong place to post it.

Fire storm in 1,2,3

That article is on the realignment board. Why did you post it here?
Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, huh... hmm... At least there is a link to "Saturday's Silent Disco".

Are you searching google for "Louisville" + "Expansion" using auto update in case any, and I mean any news pops up?
This reminds me earlier in realignment, when Houston's name was being thrown into the Big 12 narrative by ADs and such...

It means squat.

Why do you think?
Not sure it should be on the BE board per se, but take out the baiting title of this thread and it is an interesting piece.
Seriously...why post this here?
Mods please move to The Louisville board.
Thanks
CJ
It is suppose to be on the realignment board, because it is speculation and rumor. It should only be on this board, if it is an official announcement of Louisville really leaving. 04-cheers
Well it isn't speculation and rumor either, it's just a behind the scenes piece on what happened during realignment...

Your title is so misleading. All it is is one man's opinion. Nothing more. Just like me saying I think Memphis should be in the Big 12. It means nothing. Just because he's a chancellor and I'm not means nothing either in this case. I think UL fans need to get it in their heads that unless the Big 12 raids the ACC they won't be going anywhere anytime soon. And the ACC's buyout is too high now for the Big 12 to raid them.

Oh and Texas called and said not interested.

Why not? I think it affects the Big East. If Louisville leaves, who replaces them?
He wanted Louisville, Deloss wanted WVU
