Yup. Without those 4 special team TDs they are 3-1 and the sky hasn't fallen yet.

The most special teams TDs any team surrendered last season was 3 by Seattle, Baltimore, Oakland and Carolina.

There is no way that ST coach can be employed after this bye week. Brutal.

You could see the shocked look in his eyes, he knew it was over. Hated to see that.

Au contraire. The Skins had two straight blocked punts to start the season (and one in week 17 last year), so Danny Boy resigned his.

The worst part is that only the Kick Return today looked to be coaching. The other 3 returns looked to be because guys missed tackles(aka arent very talented).

Add to the terrible special teams play, the fact that they started a practice squad player at safety and I had to think hard to today to remember who they drafted last year. It was Reilly Reiff an O LINEMAN from Iowa. And the dude doesnt ever play. While we watch Jeff Sackus get abused on a weekly basis. Wasted pick so far.

They arent going to make the playoffs I can promise that. They needed to be 3-1 as of now to have a chance, because the back half of the schedule is a nightmare.

Reiff and Ryan Broyles were the first two picks and neither plays. Not sure if this team was ready to start stockpiling talent at with all the other holes they still had.

Broyles played a bit today. But in a semi-related story, the Lions lead the NFL in drops, and the Jets just released Jordan White. Some Jet fans out there had high hopes for White for his hands and route running. If the Lions ever could use a possession receiver, it's now.

Reiff should have been out there next to Backus on the last play. They should have had Johnson and Young on one side of the field streaking towards the end zone, and MAX PROTECT to keep Jared Allen & Friends away from Stafford for FIVE FREAKING SECONDS!!!
