Now I know I get sick of all the basketball talk when football is in the middle of its conference schedule....but....they had a bunch of Big East Coaches on a panal today on espn and I cant wait til UC hits the hardwood this season. I know a lot of stuff has happend during the off-season, but...I think we are gonna suprise a lot of people this year.
We have 4 very solid starters....a seemingly new mentality and work ethic. These guys have a lot to prove and a lot to play for.
Im still into football, hope we take care of business with cuse this weekend, but I just cant wait to silence the naysayers.
Last year our team wasnt clutch, the year before we always seemed to have the big shot when we needed it. Its time to get back to top form. Looking forward to seeing it happen.
I was somewhat depressed watching the show (Stephen A. Smith's show). There was very little talk of UC except Uconn and Sycacuse's coaches talking about Huggs being let go. They both said it is a big loss for the league.
Couldn't help but feel huggs would have been on the five coach panel if he was still around. They also talked about the recruits for next year they are getting better and better players in the big east.
I'll be cursing the administration next year.

I was thinking the same thing about how Huggs probably would have been there. Although, since Pitino wasn't there I just thought maybe they didn't want any of the new coaches there. Would have liked to have heard a little more about Cincy, but they were talking about the positive things about the NBE, not the negatives.
Regardless of what happens this year I am excited about this team.
I stopped by the Athletics Office today to pick up some UC Mens's Basketball Promotional Posters. Basically the ones with the schedule on it.......and I got to meet Bob Goin. He was nice enough.
I cannot believe after all the money I spent on my UC education that I have to fork over six dollars for a transcript.........much less I have to wait five days to get it!

I agree about the transcript. I recently enrolled in a program Southern Illinois has here on the base, basically a bahelors in Workforce Education and Development that can be finished in 2 yr, and I had to get a transcript from UC. Hell, That is like 50 cents a credit hour for me.
