Anyone know why he has been banned? Anyway we can keep him off permanently?

WD gone? That's news to me. What, his Fox News suicide was his last post? Why did that deserve it? The guy is a complete D-bag, but I'm not sure why that crossed the line.

We need to start a pool on the date and screen name he uses when he comes back.

Yes, he is a complete D-bag and I agree, I don't think he should have been banned either.

It was bad and crossed a big line as far as human interaction is concerned(the post was deleted). Don't bother asking me what it was, because well.... its none of my business.

He ain't coming back unless he completely can hide his identity and not talk like he does now. I'm going to uphold this one for a long time.

It was nice when he was gone earlier in the year. I prefer coming to an NIU message board and not feel like I have to defend NIU in every thread.

Didn't know he was gone, glad he is. Hope he is less cynical in his future endeavours.

A permanent ban would be most welcome.

He was trolling all are posts and was a dbag. NIU doesn't want a fan that after every win talks crap about them

i did not see the violating post, but i think WD's input is healthy for this board. I do not see it as trolling by any means..he is very much a realist in many ways. its too bad he went over the line (presumably). but he has pissed people off here many a time.

I agree with 03 in that WD/Nigel Incibator Jones provided a much needed counterpoint to some of the irrational posters on this board. He's one of those people that seems to argue for the sport of it, however, and I frankly have no time or respect for people like that. Especially when cheap shots about peoples' intelligence and name calling follow. But I'll be honest, when a topic comes up about OOC scheduling or Novak's legacy et al, I'll pass a lot of posts and scroll until I see the Blackhawks logo. Love hime or hate him, he wasnt to be ignored.

May he pound sand on the flip side.

Ok. Here is the thing. If he could be banned from this board, I am fine with that. But I don't think that he should be banned from the S&N board. I don't know if it is possible to do so on the boards individually. As for trolling and being a dbag, I do that in the Spin Room. Few over there care because they either have me on ignore or just laugh at my posts and move on.

WD - Alum was funny to me. if he bothered someone, just ignore his posts. I have done that with few on here that i feel add nothing to discussions.

I had WD on ignore. The problem was he posted in every thread and caused such a ruckus that people constantly replied to his rants.

I agree with your point of view and at times WD did make me stop and think. At other times I thought that he went way too far and attacked people in a brutal and uncalled for manner.

When he re-emerged after he was last banned I found myself agreeing with many of his posts and it seemed like he was modulating his behavior. Then he just could not help himself and he once again began attacking people in an uncalled for personal manner.

I also feel that some dog pound posters intentionally pushed his buttons and knew how just which buttons to push to get him to fly off the handle. The guy kept coming back so he does seem to be a Huskie fan at some level. I hope that his personal life is calmer than his online persona and the Dog Pound will be a bit less colorful without him.
