They are raising the old scoreboard video sections up in two pieces on each end of the arena today. They also have added two new side boards where the stats were last year. The new ones in there place are three times the size with video. They also have four boards like the old stat boards one over each entrance corner of the floor level of the Shoe. All total there are nine places to see video, score. adds or stats. This does not count the new courtside
video advertising which is a huge improvement. The new 1.9 million dollar video board with 4 huge C-Paws one in each corner has no ads that are not video, making it so much more attractive. This now makes the Shoe the most video friendly arena in the country. The new signage is up on the concourses and is much classier and less busy. . The new entrance ways from the Linder building area are just about finished. All in all the Shoe never looked better!
Forgot, they also have much improved new shot clocks.
This is all part if the fantastic new UC/21 vision that will help all our boats rise!!

Pictures?
Would love to see some pics if anyone can get some. I doubt if I will make it to Cincy to see any games and I am sure the TV coverage won't get mmany good shots of the changes.

where did you hear that the scoreboard cost $1.9 million?
In meetings....The new Campus wide video display boards you will see throughout Varsity Village are worth about 5 million. ISP sports
is involved in much of this. I think I should have typed 1.8 million to be exact on the center court board. If you have seen the flames they have showing on it as a test you will be blown away. This is
pretty much the same quality the Grizzlies have which is considered the best in arenas.
I'll be at the women's game on Wednesday (A week from Tonight) I might some take picts on my cell phone, and i'll post them If I can
Many fans should give the women's team a shot this year they are
very tall and this top ten class is exciting. This is a potential revenue area.
I can't believe I'm saying this............

I'm kinda looking forward to see how the Girls do in the Big East...should be cool with UCONN coming in. Rutger and Notre Dame are good too.
