As is always the case, there are many unknowns at the start of the conference season. My gut says WKU is far better than most expect but until we begin playing our conference mates, it's just a hunch. I think ASU will be down this year, merely because of the all the new players, new Coach, new system, etc.....but I guess we'll find out tomorrow. This is a huge game for both programs and as with most big rivalries in a big game, some players have breakout performances. I'm hoping it'll be WKU players but with ASU's highly touted coach, anything can happen.
After the Bowl snub last year Willie T. and the team know they have to win the SBC to get a bid. First up Arkansas State, we will be taking names and kicking ASS.

I agree.........I used to post as BubbaTop back in 2005 when we last got this board going. Go back and look at the threads from June to August of 2005....lots of great discussions, support from our SBC brethren, and one very annoying Mules fan.
I say we beat stAte by 9...will be a tough battle, but The Toppers will prevail in the end.
I hope we have a good contingent of fans there. It's not that bad of a drive and it's a huge game. I'd go but I have a family commitment tomorrow morning that I can't miss but at 6 pm, I'll be on my computer watching on ESPN3 in my mancave. The wife has been directed to remain quiet and leave me alone. She knows how fanatic I am about the Toppers.
I am pumped and should be going to Jonesboro but backed out and am watching at home with friends. I say TOPS by 10 - 14. Something is making me feel off with that prediction but I'll stick to my guns.
