Using that logic then we need to give high praise to the man that made this all possible.

Thank you Coach Cal! You still impact our success even though you're gone.

Wow, someone let the troll out from under the bridge.
This might be the stupidest thing Ive read on a message board in a while.

Why is it so tough to accept the Walton hire was a failure?

It would have been dumber to hire someone long term that wasn't a good fit. Walton bought Pastner the time he needed to hire the right guy. Pastner started out by surrounding himself with people he knew and trusted. Now, nobody on the staff has a professional link to Pastner at a previous job.

Based on what our coaching staff looks like right now, I think it would be smarter to blindly trust Pastner on this one.

Im referencing the thought that the Luke Walton hire had a direct impact on the AKI Collins hire. That is a stupid correlation.
uh oh
Good Lord Man, who opened up the can of stupid in this thread?

I know you must be excited to be able to catch me on something like this, but I already admitted it earlier in the thread. Sorry to ruin it for you.

You made two statements. Clearly hiring Walton had no negative impact on anything. It didn't hurt recruiting and it didn't stop Pastner from hiring the right guy. If there wasn't anyone out there that Pastner thought was a good fit, it would have been infinitely dumber to hire that person.

Oh, by the way, Josh Pastner's birthday will be September 26th. He'll be going from 34 to 35.

Does he need to thank Frank for that?

It's almost like they write themselves.

Up until now, the imbecile that got banned in 5 minutes and Salukiblows are the only ones that didn't get it. The fact that Salukiblows has it in his signature is a testament to...well, obviously not anything that makes him look very bright.

Do we need to add you to the list?
