Ohio is still on top, but there was a lot of movement behind the Bobcats. Northern Illinois jumped Toledo and Ball State almost did after both teams beat BCS teams. The real problem was at the bottom of the table. How much movement do CMU, Akron and EMU deserve? In the end, the Chippewas moved up to No. 10 after a good finish.

Man Toledo is so good, I mean they won in a terrifying fashion over a 1AA team!
Did you guys know Toledo has two -- not one, but TWO -- awesome quarterbacks?

Their QB was the #14 Dual Threat QB coming out of HS. He was Spurrier's #2 QB at South Carolina as RsFr until he got a DUI and transferred out of the program.
I seem to remember NIU losing to a couple non-1A's in the past 10 years,
winning couple by 1 and 6 points. Rockets had a tough one with EIU and Tony Romo in 2000, winning by 5. Toledo's last non-1A loss was in '88, same year Ohio U last beat the Rockets.

But the years we lost to them, none of our wins over 1A cupcakes were called terrifyingly good.
Toledo is not a good team. Going back and forth from QB to QB does not help them at all. This is college football!!!!!!!

another year Toledo will not be in the championship!

gotta love it

Besides Dantin starting at Arizona, Owens is the starter. Rockets aren't going back and forth this season with QB's. Owens did get hurt at Arizona and had his ankle rolled against CCU, Dantin did come in the games after those injuries.

Boca- How about your prediction for Staurday at WMU? Should be a great game right?
I'm looking forward to watching the Toledo/WMU game Saturday night. Should be a good one.

I definitely FEAR THE CARDINAL. A BSU/Ohio MACC is probably the most likely at this point.

I think Toledo should file for an NCAA exemption to be allowed to switch QBs in the middle of a play, like a hockey shift.
I predict BSU loses to KSU this week and we all forget about Balls Tate.
CMU beats Iowa and still at #10 behind Miami and Buffalo? lol...............what?????????

Just the brief mental picture off this....03-lmfao....the refs would be so confused, they might just call "touchdown Seahawks"

Boom

Very nice.
Nice call dude....with your prediction.

Keep in mind an axiom of Novak.

There is such parity in the MAC and there is little difference between top and bottom teams except for a few key players and key plays...so you best bring your "A" game every time out cuzz there are so few games played each season ...... and there are no do overs either .... all the more I fear the BSU game in Munchee this coming saturday.

Remember the horrid NIU performance in HS vrs outmanned BSU a few seasons back?...I still have bouts of gagging and puking when I recall that "Nightmare on Stadium Drive..."

Tweetiebirds can be an annoying nemesis and rarely an easy touch for NIU.

There also were seasons when Toledo in their heyday had their rocket pocket picked in Munchee.
