No love for Ball St after defeating 2 AQ teams in a row.
It looks like the mac is going 5-0 in its bowl games this year. I thought la Monroe was the good one?
no way Miami wins 6 games, I doubt they can even get by Akron next week.

Yeah, No BSU????

Maybe they wanted to be cute and have Miami vs. Miami and pick Miami to win.
These picks are pretty amateur for a major sport website.

First the #1 pick goes to the Little Cesar's bowl this season.

Let's scope out a reasonable MACC scenario. Ohio loses on the road to Ball State, dashing its hopes of a BCS bid but then wins against Ball State in Detroit to claim the MACC. Its hard to beat a team 2 years in a row.

1) Ohio (MACC winner)
2) Ball State (MAC west winner)
3) Western Mich
4) Northern Illinois
5) Toledo
6) Bowling Green

In the bowls then you would see...

1) Little Ceasar's (Ohio vs. ULM)-Ohio is 12-1 and ULM 10-2 both ranked in the Top 25 so this would make a good matchup.

2) GoDaddy (Ball State vs. WKU)-Both teams look like the #2 teams in the MAC and SBC respectively.

3) Famous Idaho (Western Mich vs. Utah St)-I don't anticipate Northern Illinois in this game since they were there a few years ago. Toledo will probably shop around.

4) Military (Northern Illinois vs. Miami FL)-With Toledo playing in DC last year they probably won't be invited back.

5) Ticket City (Toledo vs. Iowa State)-This game should be open on the B1G side of things but CUSA is not having the kind of season where they'll be able to fulfill the backup clause.

6) BBVA Compass (Bowling Green vs. Ole Miss)-This is the last bowl on the ladder for the Big East and where the MAC is most likely able to place an at-large team.

The MAC East should have at least 1 more bowl eligible team beyond Ohio and Bowling Green looks like it should be it based on an anticipated 2-2 non-conference.

As LK suggests, we should be routing for La-Monroe who we most likely to play in either Detroit or Mobile.

La-Monroe is a Cinderella for those who follow college FB closely.
Brad Edwards on ESPN has Ball State playing in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl against Louisiana Tech.

Here are those projections...

http://espn.go.com/college-football/bowls/projections
Is C-USA likely to have enough bowl eligible teams to fill out all their slots?
Ball St is not winning the West this year so try again...
Another senario would be Ohio running the table and parity hitting the MWC making Ohio top 16 and top ranked non-bcs conference champion.

Orange Bowl Ohio vs Cincinnati with ACC champ FSU in national title game.
Motor City NIU vs Illinois
Go Daddy Ball State vs ULM
Idaho WMU vs La Tech
Military Toledo vs Miami-FL
Ticket City Kent State vs Iowa State
BBVA BGSU vs Ole Miss
And most likely none of these scenarios will be correct.03-lmfao
