...I want some d**n votes!!!

haha no tomatoes please

but seriously will we get 1 vote?
No, and we shouldn't in my opinion. We lost to a bad Iowa team, that keeps looking worse....we barely get a victory at Army and don't destroy a not great Kansas team at home....that doesn't deserve votes.

We just need to keep winning. Eventually the voters will look at the record instead of the quality of the teams we've beat. Win the next two and I see NIU with a decent number of votes for the homecoming game. Keep winning from there and the Huskies will consistently be the lowest of the one-loss teams in the ranking.

Really, why is anyone even worried about the polls at this point of the season? We are a good team, but not deserving of any votes in the polls yet. We need to get better in several areas because the MAC-West games on our schedule are going to be very tough.

Keep improving and keep winning and it will happen.

+1
Absolutely not. UT-Martin is irrelevant. Army and Kansas are bad. Worry about the upcoming MAC schedule and much, much, much, much, much less about rankings and the OOC schedule.

I know, plus with all the mediocre Big 10 teams they are going to absolutely clog up the 25-50 positions, making it harder to move up this year.

The MAC West is going to be brutal this year. I watched the MSU/EMU game with some BIG fans, and they had a hard time believing that the Hurons are our doormat. That game was MUCH closer than the score indicates.

I didn't see yesterdays EMU game, but I did see them look just awful against Illinois St a couple weeks ago....go figure.....
we wont get any votes

Iowa beat us and they will end up 3-9 or 4-8
Army we beat them and they 3-9 as well at best
Kansas will not win 1 game in the Big 12 so they end up 1-11

those are not good wins. If we had a tougher schedule and started 3-1 than yes but that has to be one of the bottom schedules!

Kansas has a pretty nasty defense and held TCU to 20 points. I think KU's offense is a little suspect but I think they are better than you think. It might take a 9-1 start to get into the top 25.

Kansas will be no better than 2-10 this year. They may not win another game the rest of the year.

U really think that Kansas team can beat any teams listed above?
Also mark my word TCU will not be ranked end of year. They haven't beat anyone this year or played anyone yet
Why in the hell would they get votes?

They lost to a god awful Iowa team, that even Central Michigan beat on the road. They barely beat a mediocre Army team, and played like crap for three quarters against a possibly bottom 10 team in the country in Kansas. The team has done nothing to garner any national attention.

I was gonna take issue with that until I saw the last 7 games on TCU's schedule:

at Baylor
vs. Texas Tech
at Ok State
at West Virginia
vs. K-State
at Texas
vs. Oklahoma
