The MAC now has three wins over the Big 10 this season. So it's not just the SBC making a point this season. Thankfully UAb didn't get their win, not sure I could have handled that.
The SBC commish needs to get with the MAC commish and set up a MAC/SBC series. Would be great for both conferences. We already have bowl ties together. What better way to promote both leagues and sell the games, at neutral sites to ESPN and make some money for both conferences.
Central Michigan beat Iowa 32-21 on a 47-yard FG and Western Michigan is leading UCONN 17-0 early in the 2nd quarter
The MAC has looked pretty good this year as well.

I agree 100%. The Sun Belt and the MAC are brothers-in-arms, we should work to help each other in our struggle against both the AQ's and C-DOA.

Understood, but still big wins for a mid-major conference.
I'm rather luke warm on a partnership with the MAC. Those could end up being some long road trips and I don't expect many match ups to generate much buzz for either side.
Some more MAC scores to watch:
W Michigan 24 UCONN 17 in the 4th
E Michigan 7 Michigan St. 3 at halftime
N Illonois 13 Kansas 10 in the 3rd
Ball St. 10 S Florida 3 in the 2nd
This could potentially be a huge weekend for the MAC even if they only close out a few of these.
Big 10 and Big East are just that bad. Still a big opportunity for the MAC to gain some respect.
Western Mich closed it out over UCONN(Big East). Should the Big East still be considered as a "major" football conference???

Not anymore. Their best team, WVU, is gone.
Ball ST beat South FL, the Big East is just a bad football conference. Memphis and Houston will fit right in.

If you want some comfort, just know our coach is as good as gone and we will be doing some MAJOR rebuilding next year.
