Heard that building owners sold it and both tenants are searching for new locations.

Anyone heard anything about this?

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was some great cheap stuff. Huge greasy egg rolls. Please say this is untrue.
If I had a quarter for every game of Space Invaders I dropped in that joint skippling class I would have better basketball seats.
NOOOOO!

Best sandwich ever. There are very few places I ALWAYS go to when i come back to Memphis, The Sub Shop is one of them.
Need info on that?
I'll be killed for saying this...but I've never been. Have heard all sorts of great things about it and been invited to go many many times...but never been.
Where will I get my bong accessories now!!!!!
Oasis right accross the street.

You can ask Jimmy for directions, since he's begging for change in front of the Sub Shop.
Super Sub is the way to go......

You're not alone, I've never been either. Sounds like there are only a few days left to enjoy the old location.

I've seen that sign a thousand times and I never went there either. Used to go to McD's, KFC, and Wendy's (even went to the old Pizza Hut once), but I think that eerie sign kept me away. I never ate at Yum's either.

But I've been to the Fun Shop!

Damn, that sucks ... that sub shop is the one place I'll always go when I come back home.
No Whatever? That place should be on the National Register of Historic places. It's a damn shame.
The super sub is awesome but don't be afraid to try the chicken breast sub.
Let's move on to the important issue....

How long do we have until it closes and do we know for sure that they are going to re-open somewhere?

"I just talked to the Chinese woman who owns it. The woman they rent the building from apparently is selling the building. The real estate agent told her that the building will be sold and demolished. The Chinese Woman has not had official word yet. A date has not been set. She is looking for another place to set up the shop. Everything is up in the air right now. She just doesn't know what is happening! She said she doesn't want to sell or move out of the area. She will try to find another place close by she said 2 generations of people have eaten there. I explained in my family it is 4 generations! I know the building is old and is in disrepair. I know several other of the locations in the building are empty. Ohhhh nooooo! They have to move somewhere they just have too!!!!! So if you see something opening up please let them know!"

If you enjoy it, go eat there...soon!

I hate to hear this. I always make a stop at "the Ninja" each time I'm back in Memphis. Back in college my friends and I would walk in and ask the French\Asian man that worked the counter if the General (General Tso's Chicken) was "kickin'" that day. If he said no we ordered a sandwich to which he replied "Hard Bun or Soft Bun?".
