Great atmosphere for college football. BG had a couple thousand of their own on hand at the Glass Bowl.
Awesome! Well done!

Most of the fans stayed until the fourth quarter, too. Game was still sort of in question but that hasn't stopped students from leaving at half in the past.
I'm disappointed in the loss but I am glad the crowd showed up big. Hopefully we will continue to play BG/UT pre-November Saturday games. I hope BG can return the favor next year....ie... Sell out crowd and a win.

Congrats Toledo
Here a shot of the east side of the stadium from the Blah, formerly known as the Toledo Blade, with 6:41 left in the 3rd.

I saw the replay on ESPN, Toledo looks very good. They will be tough to stop.
Great crowd, good to see most of them actually stay for most of the game.

But it was eerily quiet for 28k in attendance.

Because we jumped out to a 17-0 lead and when you have a two score lead it's hard to get into the game for a casual fan. When Norills had the INT the place went nuts, as well as the TD's, and Reedy's one double juke move. The only time I thought the crowd needed to be louder was when BG was backed up in that student section endzone. But BG had a good run, and a UT penalty to get em out of that endzone quickly. If BG would have scored late to make it a one score game the crowd would have been electric. I bet Cinci will be a "crazier" crowd.
Good crowd, great for the MAC. We need more of that.
Impressive.
Need to see that for every MAC game no matter who's playing.
Toledo looking solid so far.
as long as toledo plays bg on a saturday before it gets real cold the place should be sold out. for a decade the conf had moved the game to a late season mid week affair for espn and during that time toledo had a few down years mixed in. toledo has weird crowds . loud for womens bball. quiet for mens bball. unpredictable for football. the glass bowl can be really amped up one game and subdued the next. cincy shaping up to be a another big time atmosphere. toledo should be 5-2 or 6-1 for that game. cincy is undefeated so far.

this is a big week for mac home games and attendance. ball st coming off win at indiana gets big east so fla at home. western hosts uconn and niu hosts kansas. mac needs one or two of those to keep the "upsets" coming. ohio and toledo have home games. we'll see what bowden can come up w for tennessee
