I have a sister in Cordova who needs to get rid of one of those old big azz big box TVs. I helped her upgrade to the latest greatest a while back, but this thing has been sitting in her garage ever since and needs to go. I'm willing to split the cost with her, just to shut her up. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
if she's in cordova she's close to the city/county hazardous waste disposal center off farm road near the penal farm. they take electronics

If it works, drop it off at goodwill.
I should have mentioned that we're looking for pick-up.
Look on craigslist. There are people that will pu just about anything for free on there.

Yup, that's what we did. It was worth it.
Disabled American Vets or Paralyzed Vets will come by and pick up donated items. Just tell them ahead of time if it is heavy.
Set it on the curb on trash day. It will be gone pretty soon.
It doesn't work, so I can't imagine anyone wanting it. It's BIG and she lives in a small gated community, so placing it outside isn't an option. I was more looking for someone that specializes in removal and disposal of such things. I'm thinking there's a fee involved. Thanks for the craigslist suggestion. I'll check that out.
Welp, just found a guy (craigslist) that will be there in about an hour to haul it off for free. Thanks, everyone!
